Oil Museum sponoring trip to see ‘The Glory of Easter’
The West Kern Oil Museum is sponsoring a trip to the Crystal Cathedral to watch the play “The Glory of Easter.”
The trip will take place on March 31. The bus will leave Taft at 2 p.m. and return at 11 a.m. The group will eat dinner at PJ’s Abbey before the play.
The Crystal Cathedral’s version of the “The Glory of Easter” is a spectacular one that includes more than 100 volunteer actors supporting professionals in the lead roles of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, Herod, Mary Pilates and others.
The production includes recreations of the major events leading up to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.
The trip will include bus fare for Orange Belt Stages and dinner and the cost is $120.
