Decorating inspiration. Gift ideas. Crafty gifts and ornaments. Sneak peaks at the White House, department-store windows and those neighbors who really get into the season in a big way.

If you’ve got the time, there are holiday-related shows covering most of the seasonal flurry, many of them airing a number of times in the weeks ahead. And if they aren’t enough, the companion websites offer even more ideas. Unfortunately, there’s no show on how to do it all in a month.

HGTV > offers party planning and decorating tips, including “Holiday Room by Room,” and crafty ideas for decorations, cards, gifts and stockings. “30 Days of Holiday Crafts,” which began Nov. 13, lets visitors watch a different how-to video each day and get printable instructions. And the website’s “Shop ‘Til You Drop” feature offers gift and toy ideas.

DIYNetwork > suggests creative gift and decorating ideas from its crafty hosts, including window screens turned into gift bags, wreaths made out of PVC pipe, a photo-cube Christmas tree, a quilted Hanukkah card, a snowflake table runner and a faux fur tree skirt. The site provides tips for making a portable party bar, decorative mirrors and no-sew stockings.

FoodNetwork > suggests menus for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and New Year’s.

FineLiving > offers tips for lowering your holiday stress level, hosting a fondue party and recipes with a new twist.
