This Christmas 25 December 2006 at 7 pm English general entertainment channel Zee Cafe will air the concert Sounds of Style.

The concert took place on 7 September, 2006, at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. A collision of style and sound, the star-studded fashion and music spectacular will kick off fashion week celebrating the relationship between fashion and music. Proceeds from the show benefit the Elton John Aids Foundation.

Elton John joins the production as curator, bringing his inimitable sense of fashion ad legendary musical genius to the show with unexpected artist parings and an homage to classic songs by today’s freshest talent. The concert also boasts of performances by among others Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Jay-Z, The Black Eyed Peas, Jamie Foxx and Bon Jovi.

Fashion industry powerhouse KCD, known for its work with its designers such as Calvin Klein, Versace and Marc Jobs, will produce fashion segments for the show, pairing the height of design with models.

Fans of the Swedish group Abba can check out ABBA The Show at 5: 30 pm. Abba as most readers no doubt know were a Swedish pop music group active from 1972 until 1982. They were the most successful pop music group ever to come out of Scandinavia, and rank amongst the top acts in the history of pop music. The quartet topped worldwide charts from the mid 1970s to the early 1980s. They remain a fixture of radio playlists and continue to sell albums. The group has sold around 300 million records, all but one being self-penned. This offers viewers a look at their hits.
