The Pillay-R group of companies promised they would host Christmas parties every December 25 for the children of Foyer de Providence when four years ago, representatives of the traders found nothing had been arranged for the orphans on Christmas Day.

The company kept their promise this year, and on Christmas Day threw another party, hosting the residents as well as workers there to a lunch.

They also gave them gifts, and the company’s spokesperson, Phillip Arissol, said that they hope to continue with the tradition which he said they have now set.

The nuns who run the home expressed their appreciation to the Pillay-R group, saying that the children in particular welcomed the attention.
