Russian Orthodox church to hold nativity service

An “Eve of Nativity” service with the divine liturgy of St. Basil the Great will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, 100 Livingston St., Poughkeepsie, near Vassar Hospital.

The church will hold a Christmas Eve service of vespers and matins at 7 p.m. Saturday and will present a “Nativity of Our Lord” divine liturgy at 10 a.m. Sunday.

All parishioners and friends are also invited to a Christmas Party to be held after regular Sunday worship services on January 14. Call 845-256-9837 or 845-452-8195.
